This site is dedicated to all service personnel both serving and retired and especially to all those who have given their lives not only in the current conflict in Afghanistan and recently in Iraq but to all men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in all conflicts throughout history.

I particularly want to make a special mention of all those British Servicemen who either gave their lives or were badly injured in the conflicts that I was involved in during my military service albit in a very small way, Northern Ireland, The Falklands, The First Iraq War and the many smaller conflicts during my service between 1967 – 1992.

The loss of a comrade, even one you never knew stays with you all your life as any ex-service man or women will testify. I still remember the shock and sense of loss I and my comrades felt when another British Soldier was killed in the line of duty in Northern Ireland and later in The Falklands.

Let us never forget that these men and women who gave their lives so selflessly were doing a job that many of us were and are unwill or unable to do.
